Emergency Vehicle Designed By Fire Company Members The West Lancaster, Pa., Fire Company in Manor Township recently put into service a multipurpose emergency vehicle. It was designed by members of the company over a five-year period and is unique in that it carries fire fight ing, rescue and lighting equipment. Another feature of the truck is a console in the cab which has individual controls for all inside and outside lights, siren, intercom system and radio. The truck has 14 flashing emergency lights, an emergency light bar on the roof, an electronic siren and twin 75watt speakers. The radio is rated at 110 watts. The truck body is 16 feet 3 inches long and is mounted on a Ford C-750 chassis. The truck is painted red and white and features the fire company logo on the sides.
