Names in the News Donald O’Brien Named IMSA Executive Director Donald M. O’Brien was named executive director of the International Municipal Signal Association, and the association offices moved from San Juan Capistrano, Calif., to the Investment Building, 1511 K St., N. W., Washington, D. C. In announcing the move, IMSA President Wallace E. Carlson, superintendent of traffic engineering, Iowa City, Iowa, said that the relocation of the office will facilitate close liaison with allied associations and federal agencies such as FCC and DOT, before which IMSA represents its members on regulatory matters. O’Brien was for many years general manager of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. His predecessor at IMSA, Ralph L. Jennings of San Clemente, Calif., resigned the position in order to pursue his own business interests in the security field in Southern California.
