• In response to the September 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, EMERGENCY ONE, INC. (E-ONE) is donating a rescue vehicle to be used as a decontamination unit to the Fire Department of New York (NY). The 19-foot, E-One extruded aluminum rescue body will be mounted on a Freightliner FL80 two-door cab/chassis donated by Freightliner Trucks. Other E-One supplier partners are supporting this effort with relevant donations are Alcoa, Inc., Akzo Nobel/Sikkens, Havis-Shields Equipment Corporation, the Will-Burt Company, Federal Signal Safety Products, Class 1, ROM Corporation, Winco Power Systems, and the Braun Corporation. • SAULSBURY FIRE RESCUE, a subsidiary of E-One, received an order for replacement vehicles from FDNY to replace those lost in the September 11 attack. The order includes five heavy-duty rescues, two tactical rescues, two high-rise rescues, and one satellite pumper. The U.S. Army ordered an E-One TitanT 4 2 4 ARFF vehicle to replace…
