True North, a leading manufacturer of firefighting gear, announced the recipient of their 2010 FDIC Training Scholarship.
True North’s CEO, Alyx Fier said “We are truly humbled by your response to our first FDIC Training Scholarship. There were over 700 people who applied, and we wish we could have sent everyone to Indy. However, we had to pick just one and this year’s recipient is Brant Kiessig from the Thunder Bay Fire & Rescue department.”
Brant Kiessig will receive the full Hands-On training package at FDIC 2010 and a 4-night hotel stay in downtown Indianapolis.
True North is also proud to announce that this will be an annual scholarship.
True North is in the process of endowing this scholarship in honor of a firefighter. If you know someone who you feel exemplifies the ideals of the fire service, please nominate them by sending True North their name and what you think distinguishes them.
True North has been a trusted source for quality bags & apparel for more than 17 years. They strive to provide innovative products at competitive prices, then back them up with a lifetime warranty and sincere customer service.
A lot of companies use fancy words to describe their customer service. For True North it’s taking the time to listen to each customer, then doing what it takes to help solve their problem – even if the solution is another company’s product. It’s not rocket science, just treating people the way you want to be treated. For more information about True North, visit www.truenorthgear.com.
