Ara Safety Launches New Fire Knockdown Tool

Ara Safety Inc. will unveil a new look for its Fire Interruption Technology knock down tool at FDIC, the largest firefighter training conference in the world.

Ara Safety first brought Fire Interruption Technology to the North American fire service more than three years ago, with a device that the Company named the FIT-5. Since then, fire departments have used the technology on more than 70 fires, saving millions of dollars in property from loss and at least two lives.

The Company upgraded its technology in summer 2009 when it first introduced the Pro, complete with an advanced made-in-the-USA activation system.

“The Ara Safety Pro is a powerful tool to make the jobs of firefighters safer and protect property,” said Ara Safety VP Marketing Michael Gardiner. “It deserves a brand that reflects its strength and speaks to the vital work of volunteer and career firefighters.”

“As the market expands for this type of product, we want our customers and the industry to know that if it does not say Ara Safety, it isn’t tried and true,” said Gardiner.

Ara Safety will be at Booth 8800 in the end zone of Lucas Oil Stadium. The Ara Safety Pro currently retails for $1,049. Dealers may sell for less.
