PA Firefighters Injured in Suspected Flashover

Two Bethlehem Township (PA) Volunteer Fire Company firefighters were hospitalized after a suspected flashover during firefighting operations at a house fire.

The unidentified firefighters reportedly did no have life-threatening injuries, according to officials. Another firefighter was treated at an area hospital for heat exhaustion. According to a news report, the fire, which began around 7 p.m. Wednesday, started in the kitchen. The home appeared to be a total loss. A civilian who first discovered the fire was treated for minor burns after she apparently tried to fight the fire.
