CPSE 2011 Announces Lineup for Excellence Conference

The Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) has announced the dates and program for the CPSE 2011 Excellence Conference. If you are seeking excellence in your professional development and excellence in the services provided by your agency to your community, this conference was designed for you. Our course offerings are targeted for Chief Fire and Medical Officers, senior Command Staff, Accreditation Managers, GIS Analysts, Records and Data Managers, Mid-level Supervisors and EMS personnel. Topics include, Leadership: Rules of Engagement; Fire Chiefs and Fire Prevention: Leadership Opportunity of a Life Time; Measuring True Outcomes of Fire Operations; Standard of Cover Baseline and Benchmark Relationships and many more. The Excellence Conference will be held in Orlando Florida March 8-11, 2011 at the Caribe Royal Suites Hotel and Convention Center.

Excellent Keynote Speakers

The Excellence Conference will include a daily keynote speaker led on the first day by Alan Brunacini, Retired Fire Chief of Phoenix Fire Department. Phil Schaenman, President, TriData Division of the System Planning Corporation will address the “International Concepts of Integrated Risk Management.” Thursday’s keynote “Tragedy in Tucson” will be delivered by Jeff Piechura, CFO, Fire Chief, Northwest Fire District, Arizona. Rich Gasaway, PhD, CFO, EFO, MICP, Fire Chief (retired) will provide the final day’s keynote, challenging the attendees with his presentation, “Stop this Insanity!”

Registration Options

In the core conference registration, attendees will have options including 16 prime workshops, a full day with Michael St. John learning about advanced technologies to conduct community risk analysis and develop and measure SOC, or three days with Paul Rottenburg presenting “Learning to Tell Your Story through Advanced Data Analysis and Presentation Using Excel. The full conference schedule includes workshops and seminars to meet your need as a Fire Chief, Accreditation Manager or Program Manager!

Excellent Conference – Excellent Family Vacation
