After the second Metrobus fire reported this week in the Wasington D.C. area, 94 buses have been taken out of service.
NBC 4 Washington (http://bit.ly/IF0zml) reports that an Orion VI bus caught fire on Route 50 early Tuesday morning. There were no passengers on the bus at the time and no injuries reported. Last week, a bus caught on fire on I-66. There were no passengers or injuries.
The news station details that the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) has asked an outside fire protection engineer to investigate and identify a cause.
