Boy Meets Chicago Firefighter Who Saved His Life

A young boy who was badly burned last year in a house fire got to meet the Chicago firefighter who saved his life.

He was pulled from the basement by firefighter Rom O’Connell and had to undergo many surgeries, having suffered burns on 80 percent of his body.

Now, thanks to the efforts of the boy’s kindergarten teacher, the two were reunited. The boy was able to shake hands with the crew who had been on the scene. They also brought along a bicycle, amongst other gifts.
