Charmin Donates 70,000 Rolls of Toilet Paper to Detroit

Charmin has donated more than 70,000 rolls of toilet paper to help alleviate a supply shortage for firefighters across Detroit, reports My Fox Detroit.

Facing a critical shortage of supplies like toilet paper and soap, firefighters in the city of Detroit have continued to receive an overwhelming response from the community.

An 18-wheeler delivered the cargo to the Detroit Public Safety Foundation which will then be distributed to individual firehouses across the city in the future.

Cathy Govan, Executive Director of the Detroit Public Safety Foundation said, “This shows that at the end of the day when people are down, the community wants to come together to lift everybody up. Radio station Channel 955 contacted Charmin about the shortage and helped coordinate today’s delivery.”
