Memphis (TN) – The Wolf River Conservancy offices at 3100 Walnut Grove Road were deliberately set on fire early Monday morning. Damage estimates to its office and an adjacent, vacant office suite came to $185,000.
An investigation is ongoing, and there were no injuries. According to a statement on its Facebook page, the conservancy will continue operating in the “virtual world” until if finds a new, more permanent office space. All of its computers were destroyed in the fire; it is seeking up to four new laptop computers for its staff.
