A firefighter was hurt when the porch collapsed Sunday morning at a residential fire in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
An mlive.com report (http://bit.ly/1246Ozh) indicated a Kalamazoo Public Safety officer suffered minor injuries to his back and legs in the collapse, which trapped him the rubble. He was transported to an area medical facility.
Three residents who were at home at the time of the fire were able to escape and required treatment for smoke inhalation.
