FEMA Accepting Applications for Incident Management Assistance Team Pilot Program

FEMA is launching a pilot program to expand their Incident Management Assistance Teams (IMATs) and is seeking candidates for three new IMATs. IMATs are a critical component of the FEMA disaster workforce and need to be capable of being on scene within hours of a disaster to support local, tribal, territorial, and state partners. Two Type I National Teams are being created in Sacramento, CA, and Washington, DC, and one Type II Regional team is being created in Oakland, CA.
