The Commission on Fire Service Accreditation International (CFAI) convened in Henderson (NV) on 4 March 2013 during the 2013 Excellence Conference. Thirteen fire departments were represented by their Fire Chief, Accreditation Manager, Elected/Appointed Officials, and their CFAI Peer Team Leader. Eight fire departments received their Accredited Agency Status of which six were Department of Defense Agencies. Four fire departments received Re-Accredited Agency Status, and one fire department received deferral status.
