Two firefighters were badly burned after a fire at a home for people with intellectual disabilities in Australia.
One firefighter was in critical condition and another was being treated for serious burns after the incident, according to the Herald Sun (http://bit.ly/12EN5Hq).
The firefighters entered the burning home after being told by a resident that a disabled man was trapped inside, although this was not the case. Only one resident was home at the time of the fire; he managed to leave the house and was treated for smoke inhalation.
The injured firefighters belong to the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service.
