Inspector in Deadly Philadelphia Collapse Commits Suicide

The inspector who surveyed a building that subsequently collapsed in Philadelphia has committed suicide.

Six people were killed in the collapse last week in the Center City area.

The man was a Department of Licenses and Inspections employee who had inspected the building May 14, reportedly the last time the building was looked at before the collapse, according to a CBS News report (http://cbsn.ws/11bJzT1).

The 52-year-old man was found fatally shot in a pickup truck Wednesday night. He reportedly sent a text message to his wife before he died.
