Firefighters are gaining control of a brush fire in the Angeles National Forest, near Azusa (CA), reports San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
At midday, the fire had burned 250 acres and was 30 percent contained — an improvement over the 5 percent containment in the morning.
More than 450 firefighters and two water-dropping helicopters are battling the fire.
No injuries or damages have been reported.
