Tallahassee (FL) firefighters came to the aid of one of their colleagues who suffered cardiac arrest while performing physical fitness training last week.
WTXL reported (http://bit.ly/18tNUoa) that Firefighter Steve Box, 55, was making his way up the stairs of a five-story training tower in full gear went he fell unconscious. Colleagues rushed in to perform CPR.
Box was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where doctors confirmed that he had a heart attack. Box underwent surgery and spoke to reporters about his ordeal.
