Boston Firefighters Use Aerial Ladder to Rescue Injured Man from Rooftop

Firefighters used an aerial ladder to rescue an injured man from a rooftop in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston yesterday.

The Boston Globe recounted (http://bo.st/IHSHZ0) the rescue effort, which involved tech rescue team firefighters strapping the victim into a Stokes basket that was placed atop the ladder and lowered down. The victim was reportedly conscious during the rescue, which transpired around 11:30 a.m.
