Fire Truck Stolen from Oklahoma Fire Department, Burned

A fire truck was “burnt to a crisp” after someone broke into a small Oklahoma volunteer fire station and wrecked the vehicle.

Suspects also stole money from the Avant Fire Department during the break-in, according to FOX 23 News (http://bit.ly/1fnpSgb). Burglars were able to get inside the office by climbing through a small office where there was evidence of someone trying to pry open locked filing cabinets. The report said a computer no longer works because water was sprayed throughout the office, as well as other damage.

Officials fear public safety will be compromised, as this apparatus was the one used in most emergencies in the area.
