Fire Badly Damages New York Firehouse

Fire badly damaged a fire station Monday morning in Goldens Bridge, New York.

Flames were reported at the firehouse on Route 138 around 9:20 a.m. Monday, according to the LewisboroLedger.com (http://bit.ly/1hL3cv3).  Fire departments from South Salem, Vista, Croton Falls, Bedford Hills, Somers, and Brewster responded.

Two men were inside the Westchester County firehouse and managed to get fire apparatus out of the building.

Fire Truck Catches Fire, Damages MI Fire Station

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. A Goldens Bridge firefighter was taken to an area hospital due to smoke inhalation. The second floor of the structure in particular was severely damaged.
