A Summersville (WV) firefighter was badly injured fighting a fire Sunday.
WCHS reported (http://bit.ly/1q7dvgX) that the house fire, which was reported at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, also injured another person. The other victim, a woman who was in the home but managed to escape, was taken to a hospital, treated, and released.

While operating on the inside at the fire, the firefighter fell through the floor into the basement. Firefighters were able to remove their downed colleague from the fire. He was transported with severe injuries to a hospital, then to Cabell Huntington hospital.
