A five-alarm fire burned an abandoned warehouse Wednesday night in the West Roxbury section of Boston, Massachusetts.
According to WCVB (http://bit.ly/1pbjxXr), no interior firefighting operations were conducted on the fire at the former pharmaceutical warehouse. Boston Fire Commissioner Joe Quinn said a defensive posture was taken due to potential hazards inside the building.
A collapse zone was established around the structure as a precaution, and no injuries were reported.
Investigators are looking into the fire. A developer recently purchased the property and planned to convert it into housing units, according to the report, and teens may have been hanging around the building prior to the fire.
