A five-alarm fire in East Boston injured two firefighters and displaced 34 residents early Saturday, reports necn.com.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. at 1051 and 1053 Saratoga Street.
By 3 a.m., two firefighters were transported to local hospitals, according to the Boston Fire Department. One of the firefighters suffered a knee injury and another was transported for heat exhaustion.
No civilians were injured.
The Red Cross is assisting the 34 residents who were displaced by the fire.
