Several firefighters died in the past two weeks, including, most recently, a young firefighter who died after collapsing at a station in St. Paul, Minnesota. Crowds turned out to honor wildland firefighters killed last month in a Washington state wildfire, and Scranton (PA) firefighters experienced a near miss during a warehouse fire.
