Chicago fire photographer Steve Redick shared several photos of city firefighters working at a recent structure fire where they were challenged by gusting winds.

According to Redick, the fire occurred Sunday night in a laundry facility of some kind. The winds led to heavy fire conditions at the scene. The fire building was a single-story truss roof and had large vacant lots on both sides. The only exposure problem was alley garages in the rear of the structure.
