Around 12:05 am Saturday morning, city of Los Angeles (CA) Fire Department (LAFD) crews responded to Lanark St & Wheatland Ave for a reported auto fire.

On arrival, LAFD firefighters found a Chevrolet pick-up fully engulfed in flames. It took firefighters about 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze. There were no occupants around the vehicle and it was parked in a commercial area. A security guard at a nearby business told the fire captain that the fire was caught on video. The fire appeared to be deliberately set and was a total loss. No injuries were reported.
