Buffalo (NY) firefighters of the 6th Battalion 3rd Platoon battled a structure fire that tragically claimed the life of a seven-year-old boy.
Firefighters used two 2 1/2-inch and four1 3/4-inch handlines along with a ladder pipe and tower ladder. Several other occupants escaped the flames. The child was rescued by firefighters and given CPR, but doctors could not revive him at Oishie Children’s Hospital.
