Mollys Kid Zone

Molly Goes Back to Chicago!

Hi, boys and girls!

Welcome to Molly’s Kids Zone on Firelife.com!

My name is Molly, and I am a real fire dog. I love teaching fire safety to children.

One of the things I like about being a fire dog and mascot is being able to travel the United States sharing fire safety with boys and girls just like you!

CHICAGO!

My favorite TV show, Chicago Fire, just celebrated its 7th season premiere and guess who went to the One Chicago Premiere Party in Chicago? Me!

Posing with my human, Firefighter Dayna, at the event.

I have done a lot in my life, but this was one of the most exciting things I have ever done!

At the One Chicago Season Premiere Event in Chicago!

Joe Minoso (“Cruz”) is one of my favorite actors from the show. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet!

When he saw me, he came up to me, said hello, and let me be in some pictures with David Eigenberg (“Hermann”) and Kara Killmer (“Brett”) and him!

Talk about being a happy dog!

Had my photo made with Colin Donnell (“Dr. Connor Rhodes”), from the TV show, Chicago Med.

He was super nice and even tweeted about our visit!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BODEN!

My little brother, Boden, recently turned 3 years old!

Happy birthday, Boden!

Can you guess who Boden was named after?

If you guessed Chief Boden from the TV show, Chicago Fire, you guessed right!

SHARING FIRE SAFETY

This time of year, I keep really busy doing fire safety programs all over the country and attending events.

A couple of my favorites were the program at the Joplin Public Library at the Lowe’s Safety Saturday in Joplin.

A RED RIBBON FOR THE SPOTMOBILE!

Recently, during the Jesse James Day Parade in Pineville, Missouri, the SpotMobile won 2nd place at the parade in the emergency vehicle category!

Mayor Greg Sweeten presented me with the ribbon and I am going to hang the ribbon in my clubhouse.

Thank you to Mayor Gregg Sweeten and the city of Pineville, Missouri, for the red ribbon for the SpotMobile’s entry in the Jesse James Day Parade!

FIRE SAFETY TIP: HAVE A HOME FIRE DRILL

Push the button on your smoke alarm to start your home fire drill. Practice what to do in case there is smoke. Get low and go. Get out fast!
