One Dead in Huntington (WV) Fire

A house fire in Huntington has left a woman dead, reports Metro News.

The flames were too intense to go very far into the house for a search and rescue mission. The woman was trapped on the second floor and firefighters were driven back by heavy flames and smoke as they attempted to get inside.

The woman is identified as Dreama Adkins, 70. She was trapped on the second floor. Her son was also in the house at the time, but managed to escape unharmed.
