Two firefighters with the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) were arrested after they reportedly crossed police lines during a three-alarm Trenton (NJ) fire.
NJ.com reports that the incident occurred during a fire earlier this month in the city’s North Ward. The two FDNY members, who were both originally from Mercer County, had been apparently warned several times not to cross the lines established at the fire scene.
After they ignored police commands, the report said they were arrested and charged each with failure to disperse, a disorderly persons offense.
On Monday, an FDNY spokesman said the firefighters’ work status was not affected by the incident, the report said.
