Steve Kosch has been working for 3M for 27 years and is currently part of the Global Segment Application Engineering Team and he is responsible for Fire & EMS. He also is the Global Confined Space & Rescue Specialist for 3M across all segments. In this role he has the responsibility for supporting customers and sales teams in providing 3M PSD solutions for protecting workers within these segments and in confined spaces and at heights. Steve has a Master’s Degree in Safety & Health, is a POC Firefighter and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (currently 1/3 through his Paramedic program) and has over 30 years of emergency response experience. He has led both industrial and municipal fire, confined space and rescue teams. He is a Lead EMS Explorer Advisor and Vehicle Operations FTO. He is a principal member to NFPA 1580 - Technical Committee on Emergency Responders Occupational Health, NFPA 350 – Guide for Safe Confined Space Entry and Work and ANSI Z117.1 – Confined Spaces.
