Super-Block Hospital Complex and Response Challenges
A high-rise medical hospital facility may be a standalone building with a fire barrier to divide the floor into various sections consisting of multiple wings or a hospital complex constructed as a “Super Block” with numerous interconnecting buildings that run several city blocks.
This webcast will help firefighters recognize the massive building components; medical support systems and equipment; In-patient areas and horizontal evacuations; on-going construction projects and fire dept. response challenges.
