Andy Starnes

Andy Starnes is a lifelong student of the fire service and has been involved with the fire service as a volunteer since 1991. He joined the career fire in 1998 and retired as a battalion chief after 25 years. Starnes currently serves as the owner/operator and instructor of Insight Fire Training and is Level II Thermography Certified. He has published numerous works in various fire service publications and textbooks and is a contributor on the topics of thermal imaging, fire behavior, leadership, and behavioral health. He is the Owner/Founder of Insight Training LLC Fire Academy
Joseph DeVito

Joseph DeVito

Joseph DeVito is a captain in Florida with more than 20 years in public service. He has worked at volunteer fire organizations, as an EMT-P for a county run EMS department, and has been at his current department for 17 years. Joe is a Florida Fire and EMS instructor, Level 1 Thermography certified, and a Kill the Flashover and a Florida Gulf Coast FOOLS member.
Manfred Kihn

Manfred Kihn

Manfred Kihn is a 19-year veteran of the fire service, having served as an ambulance officer, emergency services specialist, firefighter, captain, and fire chief. He has been a member of Bullard’s Emergency Responder team since 2005 and is the company’s fire training specialist for thermal imaging technology. He is certified through the Law Enforcement Thermographers’ Association (LETA) as a thermal imaging instructor and is a recipient of the Ontario Medal for Firefighters Bravery.
