Secaucus (NJ) Fire Department

The Secaucus (NJ) Fire Department placed in service this 28-foot fire and rescue boat built by LAKE ASSAULT BOATS. The boat services the Hackensack and Passaic Rivers (and their 28 bridges), which also empty into Newark Bay and the Hudson River.

  • Nine-foot, six-inch beam;
  • 63-inch hydraulic bow door with remote control;
  • portside dive door with fold-down dive ladder;
  • swimmer’s grab rails;
  • davit crane;
  • two push knees in forward bow;
  • fully enclosed pilot house;
  • 5,000-watt gas generator;
  • DARLEY PSDE 1,500-gpm pump;
  • TFT Typhoon monitor with three gated discharges and five-inch discharge;
  • compartment for two five-gallon pails of foam;
  • FLIR camera;
  • four FRC scene lights;
  • two GOLIGHTS; and
  • twin MERCURY 350-hp outboard motors.

The Tea (SD) Fire Department has in service this tender built by MIDWEST FIRE TANKER.

  • FREIGHTLINER M2 106 chassis with two-seat cab;
  • CUMMINS L9 350-hp diesel engine;
  • HALE HPX300X 120- to 350-gpm pump;
  • APR 3,000-gallon water tank with five-inch Storz direct tank fill;
  • rear NEWTON stainless-steel 10-inch dump valve with 12-inch flip chute;
  • side NEWTON stainless-steel 10-inch dump valves with 36-inch flip chutes;
  • ZICO electric stainless-steel portable tank carrier with 3,000-gallon portable tank;
  • ROM roll-up compartment doors;
  • triple SAFETY VISION rearview camera system; and
