The Moose Jaw (Saskatchewan, Canada) Fire Department designed this pumper, built by FORT GARRY FIRE TRUCKS, with an enclosed top-mount pump panel for protection from the elements.

  • SPARTAN Gladiator LFD chassis with 24-inch raised-roof cab;
  • CUMMINS L9 450-hp diesel engine;
  • HALE Qmax single-stage, 2,250-gpm pump with two 1½-inch and one 2½-inch crosslays/speedlays, and an AKRON DeckMaster monitor;
  • co-poly 500-Imperial gallon water tank;
  • 25-Imperial gallon foam tank;
  • FOAM PRO 2002 system;
  • ER-style body with AMDOR roll-up compartment doors; and
  • Light and power with a COMMAND LIGHT and WHELEN scene lights.

Quincy (MA) Fire Department

The Quincy (MA) Fire Department received this KME tractor-drawn aerial ladder truck.

  • Severe Service chassis with 96-inch XMFD cab;

  • 101-foot aerial ladder with 94-foot horizontal reach;
  • 500-pound wet/dry tip load:
  • 14-foot jack spread;

Ameren/St. Louis (MO) Fire Department

The Ameren/St. Louis (MO) Fire Department’s Chemical Unit 1 was built by ALEXIS FIRE EQUIPMENT.

  • SPARTAN Metro Star LTD chassis with 234-inch wheelbase and 18-inch front bumper extension;
  • CUMMINS L9 450-hp diesel engine;
  • HALE Qtwo 2,000-gpm, two-stage pump with 2½-inch front bumper discharge;
  • 300-gallon poly water and 800-gallon foam tanks;
  • WILLIAMS WATP 500V around-the-pump foam system;
  • TOMCO carbon dioxide-refrigerated DOT delivery unit;
  • VANNER 3000 inverter;
  • AMERTEX 500-pound dry chemical skid; and
  • FRC side and WHELEN rear scene lighting.

Owasco Fire Department

The Owasco Fire Department, Auburn, New York, protects Owasco Lake (one of the Finger Lakes) with this custom fireboat built by LAKE ASSAULT BOATS—part of Fraser Shipyards.

  • Twenty-six-foot V-hulled craft with nine- foot, six-inch beam and a carrying capacity of 3,500 pounds;
  • powered by twin YAMAHA four-stroke 225-hp outboards;
  • walk-around pilothouse with ergonomic helm station;
  • dash console that includes a 12-inch GARMIN touchscreen integrated with GPS, sonar with Sidevu and DownVu, chart plotting, and FLIR camera;
  • DARLEY PSDE 1,250-gpm pump with dedicated engine;
  • TFT Monsoon monitor;
  • three 2 ½-inch discharges and connections for LDH; and
  • a proprietary sea chest design to prevent cavitation and ensure proper water flow.
