AZ Fire Apparatus Collides with SUV, Rolls Over

Four firefighters were injured in a rollover after their fire apparatus collided with an SUV Friday morning in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Phoenix Fire Department truck was en route to a house fire when the accident occurred, according to a report on azfamily.com (http://bit.ly/1del5gS).

Engine 9, lights flashing and siren blaring, was going through the intersection when it struck the SUV, according to investigators. That SUV veered off the road, but the fire engine went up a curb and through a bus stop before it rolled over. The firefighters were able to escape the vehicle through the apparatus windshield.
