The six-week project has resulted in a cleaner design, increased functionality and made the site easier to use for both customers and internal administrators. The uncluttered aesthetics bring the site up to date with current Web 2.0 trends, utilizing a clean look throughout and simplified menu structure.
Added features include larger photography, an events calendar with training classes, trade shows, and dealership open houses, and interactive elements such as the product carousel on the Products page, the before and after slider on the Refurbishment page and a sliding timeline on the History page. As the site continues to evolve over the coming weeks and months it will also support new E-ONE videos.
The new E-ONE.com also reflects the organization’s on-going lean initiatives as this was the first time E-ONE performed a mini kaizen with field sales representatives and internal staff to understand the site’s usability and functionality before beginning the redesign project.
