Firefighters Injured in Brooklyn (NY) Fire Apparatus Collision

Two Fire Department of New York vehicles collided this morning in Brooklyn, New York. Eleven firefighters were injured in the crash; four members suffered serious injuries.

The New York Post reports that (http://bit.ly/UwHKZk) the collision happened around 7:45 a.m. in Canarsie. One of the engines smashed through a resident’s brick wall, but no civilians were immediately reported to be injured.
