A pedestrian died after being struck by a fire apparatus in Gaston County, North Carolina.
According to a report from WSOC (http://bit.ly/1Gxpvhu), the man, who reportedly was walking home from a bar, stepped out in the middle of the four-lane road in front of the fire truck.
The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk and the fire truck was driving slower than the speed limit, according to the news report.
