Woman Killed in Elmwood Park (NJ) Structure Fire

A 36-year-old female was killed in a fire Tuesday night at a two-family home in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. FDIC photographer Tony Greco provided some photos of firefighters operating at the scene.

Firefighters found her body on the floor next to the bed on the second floor of the home, The Record reported. A 90-year-old tenant on the first floor managed to escape thanks to a smoke alarm.

Firefighters from the communities of Elmwood Park, Saddle Brook, Garfield, Fair Lawn, and Clifton responded to the fire.
