FDIC 2014 Recap: BullEx Showcases New and Upcoming Products

At FDIC 2014, Fire Engineering Associate Editor Derek Rosenfeld visited BullEx and its representative Jennifer Mayer at the company’s wide-ranging outdoor demonstration space to view several BullEx products and to view firsthand BullEx’s special vendor event, the HEAT.

Visitors to BullEx’s inside booth received an exclusive preview of its digital hoseline trainer, which will be formally launched later this year. They also got an upclose look at the recently released SG1000 smoke generator and took tours of BullEx’s interactive Fire Safety Trailer.

Outside in the demo area, BullEx offered demonstrations of its revolutionary Attack Digital Fire Training System. Visitors received a firsthand look at just how realistic and durable the system is, as firefighters fought the digital flames using a hoseline. BullEx also showcased its Smart Class A fire training container and live-fire extinguisher training tools, while a local fire department demonstrated BullEx’s large scale live-fire training props.

The HEAT placed firefighters in a training scenario armed with the most elite fire service products available from partners BullEx, LION, MSA, PBI Performance Products, Rosenbauer, Safety Components, Task Force Tips, and W.L. Gore. Participants also got the chance to put out fires using the BullEx Vehicle Fire Training Prop, Digital Fire Training Technology, and gas-based fire training containers.

At the HEAT demonstration, this fire department from Pennsylvania uses tactics to extinguish this simulated car fire.
