There are as many theories about leadership as there are authors; but it can be difficult translating theory into practice. In reality, most firefighters and officers don’t deal with theories–they need very practical techniques that they can use every day to lead themselves and others to success. This class will provide a series of successful behaviors that the instructor has used in leading fire companies, battalions, divisions, a large fire department, the National Fire Academy, and the U.S. Fire Administration.
