FDIC Preview: James Johnson Talks About “Facts, Not Fear”

On Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at FDIC International 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana, from 3:30 p.m.-5:15 p.m., James Johnson will discuss “Facts, Not Fear” to dispel some of the greatest misconceptions regarding fire behavior and construction types at specific fire calls.

This class will evaluate some of the most common myths relating to the performance of building construction materials and systems under fire conditions. Outside sources like the Internet and social media make it possible to access and share much information; unfortunately, many myths and much incorrect information come along with it.

Johnson is a firefighter from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
