  • light and power with ONAN 35-kw pto generator, WILL BURT Night Scan, nine HAVIS SHIELDS floodlights (two brow, five recessed on body, and two on tripods at rear), and six FEDERAL scene lights.

The Enid Woodring Regional Airport, Enid, Oklahoma, has in service this CRASH RESCUE EQUIPMENT SERVICE quick attack unit. Airport Director Don Cornell says it was designed to meet FAA advisory circulars and FAR Part 139 to satisfy Index A standards. It normally responds to aircraft-related incidents.

  • FORD F-550 XL Super Duty 4 × 4 chassis with 164.8-inch wheelbase and two-seat cab;
  • INTERNATIONAL 6.4L Power Stroke diesel engine with FORD automatic transmission;
  • Renegade TM 5300 twin agent unit with TRI-MAX 300-gallon foam/water premix and encapsulated dry chemical (500 pounds) with WILLIAMS Hydrochem technology, twin agent handline, and AKRON Fire Fox bumper turret;
  • 18-foot ground ladder in ladder rack; and
  • ROBINSON roll-up compartment doors.

The Evanston (IL) Fire and Life Support Services uses this MARION BODY WORKS squad to provide a mobile air cascade system and carry additional equipment for special operations, says Captain William Muno.
