Apparatus Deliveries

The LeDuc County Fire Services (Nisku, Alberta, Canada) has in service a CAFS mini-pumper and a tanker built by FORT GARRY FIRE TRUCKS. Fleet and Equipment Maintenance Coordinator Gerald Haakenson says the mini-pumper makes maximum use of limited water resources and is used as a supplement for rescues and primary ground cover fires. The tanker replaced a single-axle vehicle and works with other apparatus to shuttle water to pumpers at ground cover fires and structure fires.

The Wilton (ME) Fire Department uses this HME quint as a first-out truck interchangeably with fire attack and aerial capabilities, says Chief Sonny Dunham. The department also uses the quint to support its rescue truck in related responses.
