APPARATUS DELIVERIES

The city of Paterson, NJ, recently took delivery of a Pierre Thibault apparatus mounted on a Spartan CFG-2,000 chassis, with 204-inch wheelbase, powered by a Detroit Diesel 6V-71T and Allison 4-speed automatic transmission model HT-740D. The unit has a Hale 1,250-gpm two-stage pump with power transfer valve, electric priming pump, and relief valve.

There is a 300-gallon booster tank with 300 feet of 1-inch booster hose and two 200-foot skids each of 1 3/4-inch preconnected in Mattydale compartments. The hosebeds hold 650 feet of 3 1/2-inch hose and 750 feet of 2 1/2-inch hose.
