The Cambridge (MA) Fire Department has placed in service this PIERCE Ascendant aerial. Acting Chief of Department Gerard Mahoney says that the lightweight, maneuverable apparatus provides and easier, cleaner response for navigating through confined streets in the department’s highly populated community.

The Clintonville (WI) Fire Department replaced two rescues with this MARION BODY rescue as its main support unit for structural firefighting. The unit is also first out for extrication, ice response, grain bin, and other rescues, says Chief Shane Kreuger.

The Hummels Wharf Fire Company (Monroe Township, Pennsylvania) designed this MARCO FIRE EQUIPMENT minipumper to run with their other engines. Deputy Chief John G. Grove says that it runs only on hard surface roads and answers alarms for fires, motor vehicle accidents, and service calls and is a backup for medical calls.
