Sheffield, Oh., recently took delivery of this Pierce Arrow pumper. It is mounted on a Pierce chassis with a crew cab canopy. The unit has a 6V-92TA diesel engine, an Allison HT-740 automatic transmission, wheelbase of 178 inches and cab-to-axle of 117 inches. It is equipped with a Waterous CSYBX-1250 pump, and a 750 gallon booster tank. Additional features include a chrome bumper, 2 – 2 1/2-inch LH discharges, 2-2 1/2-inch RH discharges, 1-2 1/2-inch rear discharge, a deluge gun with a 3-inch outlet, 5-inch front suction, 2 crosslays with 1 1/2-inch valves, Federal 184 cab roof light, Whelen 2700 rear post light, 6-inch red flashing lights front and rear, 500 watt telelights, code 3 #3400 siren, 1-10 foot folding ladder, 1-35 foot three section ladder and 1-14 foot roof ladder.

The city of Rochester Fire Department, NY, took delivery of three Emergency One model 20084 Midi-Pumpers. Built on GMC chassis, they feature all aluminum modular bodies and 1000 gpm pump systems. 300 gallon aluminum water tanks with zinc anode systems are included. The trucks are equipped with Federal lighting and PA systems and stainless steel pump panels.

Farmington, Mich., recently took delivery of this Pierce Suburban with a 65 foot Sponco aerial. It is mounted on a Ford C08000 chassis with a MT-643 automatic transmission, wheelbase of 75 inches, and cabto-axle of 143.5 inches. It is equipped with a Waterous CSYBX-1250 pump and a 500 gallon booster tank.

Palm Beach International Airport has recently taken delivery of a Titan III crash fire rescue vehicle, manufactured by Emergency One, Inc, It features a 4X4 all wheel drive chassis, an engine driven pump system, a Detroit diesel 8V-92T engine and Allison automatic transmission with Rockwell axles and brakes. Its fire fighting equipment includes a 1500 gallon stainless steel water tank with zinc anodes, a 190 gallon stainless steel foam tank, a multi-metering proportioning system, 375/750 gpm roof turret, 300 gpm bumper turret, front mounted hose reel and under truck nozzles.

Lovell, Wy., recently received a Pierce Mini Attack pumper on a Chevrolet K-30 chassis with a V-8 engine and four speed transmission. The pump is a Waterous CPK-3, the tank is 250 gallons. A 20 gallon single agent foam tank is also mounted around the pump. It is equipped with crosslays over pump, double rear compartment doors, two 8-foot lengths of 3-inch hard suction, and a 12-foot two section ladder.

A Reading rescue body mounted on a Chevrolet 4X4 chassis was recently delivered to the City of Morgantown Fire Department, W. Va. The body is A-60 zinc coated steel, with panels electrically welded into a single unit. The understructure is constructed with structural steel girders, braced and reinforced at critical stress points. Electrical equipment includes a generator and telescoping floodlights.
