Custom chassis maker AMERICAN LAFRANCE CORPORATION and aerial device maker AERIAL INNOVATIONS have formed a partnership to develop a new line of aerial ladders unique to American LaFrance and Freightliner products. American LaFrance will take partial ownership of Aerial Innovations and distribute the aerial ladders through selected fire apparatus manufacturers. In addition, Aerial Innovations` line of aerial devices will be developed and expanded to cover domestic and worldwide fire service requirements. Aerial Innovations customer support for its current aerial products will be expanded through American LaFrance and its dealer organization, in addition to its current dealer organization. American LaFrance is a subsidiary of Freightliner Corporation.
